Toorak Bowling Club Membership

There are 3 levels of membership:

• Full Members
• Junior Members 
• Social Members

Prospective members are always welcome. Either turn up for an impromptu game with some of the regulars, or call the club beforehand, and we'll have someone ready to show you the ropes.

Applications to become a member of the club may be made using the appropriate form, collected from the club.

Full Member

A Full Member is eligible to participate in Pennant, Club Championships and social games. They are free to practise, so long as there is a free rink not adjacent to an officially organised game. A full member is able to vote at all general meetings, and hold an office in the club. Fee for full membership is $100 per annum.

Junior Member

A Junior Member is anyone applying who is under the age of18. They are eligible to bowl, but not to vote, hold an office, or purchase or consume liquor on the premises. Fee for junior membership is $25 per annum.

Social Member

A Social Member is eligible to use any of the club's facilities, including social or "barefoot" bowling on the green when it is not required for competition use by our full members. They are not eligible to vote or hold an office. Fee for social membership is $25 per annum.

Ancilliary Costs

Green Fees

Each player is charged a green fee (usually $5.00) at each competition or social game.

Social Bowls

The green usage fee for social bowlers is either $10.00 or $15.00 per player (depending on the time of day/night), and covers the full cost of equipment (bowls, jacks & mat).
