HISTORY
HISTORY OF TOORAK BOWLS CLUB
Toorak Bowling Club was founded in 1913 by members of the local community. Throughout its first century, the Club became known not only as a place to bowl but as a hub for community events. Stories of dinner dances, road trips and gala nights are often told by our longer serving members. With a growth in popularity of barefoot bowling the Club has seen a rise in social members who enjoy visiting the club for a bowl on a fine day, or a drink and a chat all year round.
The club holds strong values of respect and welcomes people from all walks of life. It’s culture and success sits on the shoulder of its members, past and present.
